Skeye.pad SL
The skeye.pad SL opens up new possibilities: Due to its PCMCIA and CF card slot, the skeye.pad SL can be extended by storage modules (up to 7 Gbyte) or a barcode scanner as well as using different radio transmission technologies (e.g. WLAN, Bluetooth, GSM, GPRS, or HSCSD/HSMD).
With the launch of Windows XP, the skeye.pad SL can, in addition to Windows 2000 Server, be utilised supplementary to a PC or laptop. Due to the Terminal Server Client, the user has at his disposal the complete functional range of Windows XP on his mobile computer with all applications installed on the desktop. Connection between the Windows XP-/Windows 2000 computer and the skeye.pad SL is realised either via a serial interface or wireless using all common wireless technologies like GSM, DECT, IrDA, Bluetooth, Wireless LAN.
Skeye.pad XSL
Developed to meet the high requirements of mobile applications, the Intel XScale 400 MHz processor and a generous memory complement provide the skeye.pad XSL with plenty of power for complex applications. The skeye.pad XSL handles even extended periods of use without problems due to its replaceable battery.
The large 8.4’’ TFT display and its weight of just around 900 g make the skeye.pad XSL very ergonomically efficient. Easy to understand applications and complex information are available anytime and anywhere.
The skeye.pad XSL’s PCMCIA, CF and SD/IO Slots ensure its ultimate expandability. Technologies such as Wireless LAN, Bluetooth, GSM/GRPS or the future UMTS can be used as required without problems. Peripherals such as printer, modem or keyboard can be connected using the USB or RS232 ports.
Using the optional fully integrated laser scanner and the integrated Wireless LAN module, the skeye.pad XSL is ideally suited for mobile data capture. Efficiency and productivity improvements can be achieved within a very short period of time. The skeye.pad XSL software tools ensure easy setup, maintenance and administration of the system and keep operating and development costs low.
